I'm ALWAYS barefoot in my house except in the winter when I need slippers to keep my feet warm, BUT I NEVER go outside in bare feet. I just can't stand the idea of my feet touching dirt or grit. I was a barefoot kid when dirt & puddles didn't bother me at all. In fact, mud squishing between my toes was quite pleasurable. I don't know when I got the phobia about dirt on my feet, but it isn't a bad phobia...I don't think...
(Sigh) You have such nice shoes, Darlene. I wish I could get some like that, but they don't have them available in size 43 here. But they are very nice. So are the feet in them.
I can't help but wonder what size 43 would be in American size. Can you order?
Those are my feet. Not bad for 64 years old, eh? The one thing that I actually listened to my Mom was when she told me to always wear sensible shoes and don't go with fashion. Then, she pointed out some of the ugliest feet I ever saw to make her point. We were in a store and the woman had obviously crammed her feet in pointed toe shoes that were too small. Her toes were bent strangely and she had corns and bunions. One look at that woman's feet and I vowed to always wear sensible shoes. I was about 15 years old then. Today, I am so glad I listened to my Mom!
Size 43 is I think size 11 in women's shoes in America. And you are right... super high heels look sexy, except when they take their sexy shoes off, then it doesn't look quite so sexy anymore, and reminds me of Eddie Murphy's reaction in that film where he freaked everytime he say the girl's feet in bed, and started to crawl up the walls. LOL I have always been lucky to get away seeming much taller in 'just' two-inch heels, and heels were never really "part of the dress code" where I live.
I love these. When warm weather comes, I wear something like these in Indiana! I love the way you did this with the photos splayed out! Cool! ♥

DeleteThank you for your comment. I think I have slacked off so long that people aren't visiting my blog much any more. Shame on me...
Oh I love your shoes!! These are my kinda shoes--the only thing better (in my opinion) is going barefoot. Yes-I'm one of THOSE people!! LOL :)
ReplyDeleteCheers, Jenn.
