  1. I can't tell you how many pics I took before I realized that silly goose was standing on a decoy. LOL I made a little video of the pics. If you want to watch it, it is here: http://youtu.be/Pk9Lx6d9Fw8

  2. LOL, That is a fun cool picture!! I had to look at that picture again. I thought that crazy goose was trying to get some and you caught them in the act. LMAO!!!!! Even more funny now that I know that the one is a decoy and he is catching a ride up stream. Made me literally laugh until tears are running down my face. Thanks Darlene!!!

  4. @ Paula: I spent the longest time at the side of that lake just watching that goose. The first I noticed him was when I saw a head pop up out of the water, then go under again. I was so puzzled that I kept looking for that head to pop up. I thought I had found the Lake Leona monster...hahaha. I finally got a shot of his head sticking out of the water. I should have posted that one too! Anyway, when the silly goose got done swimming around under water, he got up on that decoy (more like lake decoration since it is so large and stays in that one spot!) and then began to dry his feathers. It was a sight to watch. He had me enchanted for quite a while!

  5. @Kathy: Now you see why I called him a silly goose. Or maybe it is a she??? LOL

  6. @Theresa: It took me a long time to figure that out. I kept thinking that the duck he was standing on was a mighty nice (or stupid) duck. hahaha Then I noticed that only the goose was moving. Apparently the decoy was anchored in the spot because it never even drifted. I had so much fun that I told my husband about the hidden park I had found and took him there a couple of weeks later. The decoy was still in the same place. LOL
