MY EYES ADORED YOU ~ BFF 179

BFF 179

The first time I saw you, I was intrigued. I watched you closely as my intrigue grew steady and strong. Soon, it came to a point where I was seeking you out wherever I could find you. I googled your name, found photos and details about you. I spent long hours learning everything I could about you. My longing grew and grew until I came to understand that I just couldn’t live without you.

At first I never mentioned you to my husband. In secret, I looked at photo after photo of you on the internet. I was sure that my husband would stand in our way. Gradually I came to understand that I could no longer live without you. My love for you grew exponentially with every new thing that I learned about you so that I became no better than a stalker! Finally, I brought your name up to my husband. He did not seem to mind that you had caught my eye, but he too thought the price would be too high. I tried to not think about you, but like an addict in need of a fix, I sought you out on the internet daily. I allowed my eyes to take in every detail of your beautiful body. I love your accessories. You are simply the whole package for me.

I had to have you, but the cost was so high that I wouldn’t allow my heart to linger long. But, today I learned something about you that I could not resist. I no longer wanted to resist. I just have to have you. I reached deep within to find the courage for the conversation that I knew I must have with my husband.

Tonight, I approached my husband and told him everything. I told him that I can no longer live without you in my life. His understanding and compassion were beyond my wildest dreams. He loves me so much that he is allowing me to pursue a relationship with you. I can have you and I can have you NOW! I rushed back to my computer to make the arrangements.

I can hardly wait!! I am giddy with happiness with the knowledge that I will actually be able to touch you in a few short days. I want to stroke you and examine every inch of you. I want to push all your buttons and turn you on. Ohhh…. I can hardly wait! Very soon, you will be mine. ALL MINE!!!

While I wait for your arrival, I am dreaming of how sweet you will make my life and my eyes will continue to adore you…

I’ll see you soon… Kiss, kiss…

  2. You know at first I thought you were carrying on about some hot movie star. Then when you started in about your husband, I wondered. This was such a riveting read. You really had me going Darlene. LOLOL My dirty mind was picturing Adam Levine or Johnny Depp in little or no clothes. LMAO But, if it was one of them your husband probably wouldn't have been so willing to oblige. LOLOLOL Have fun with your new gadget!

    1. I can hardly contain myself while I wait for it to arrive. I had a very old Sunbeam standing mixer for years, but it took up too much room in my cupboard and, did I mention that it was VERY OLD! It worked fine, so I gave it to my church thrift shop. Of course, it sold right away... And I regretted that for the longest. And, it had the grinder attachment, which I have really, REALLY missed. The new mixer doesn't come with the grinder attachment, but I can get it from Amazon or Ebay. I chose yellow to match my kitchen. Yellow makes me happy!

I'm glad to have given you such a good laugh. Don't blame the dirty mind on yourself. I did, intentionally, lead you down that path. *snicker*

    1. I had been looking on line and in-store prices, but it seemed that it was going to cost $300 regardless of where I purchased. I just couldn't justify the cost, but I couldn't help myself. I kept doing searches. Heck... If I saw that Walmart carried them at a good price in-store, I would have broken my own rule and raced to the closest Walmart. LOL But...prepared to settle for less than what I really wanted, I visited Target.com again last night. When I clicked on the kitchen appliances, I almost fell out of my chair to see that several KitchenAid products were on sale (on-line only) at 20% off AND qualified for free shipping!!! woo hoo!!! I almost ran to the living room to tell my husband about my find and .... "Honey, can I?" (We have a long, LONG standing policy of discussing the larger purchases together before buying) When he said it was fine with him, I almost danced back to the computer room to make my purchase!!! Happily, projected delivery date could be as early as Friday and not later than next Tuesday. I'm a happy girl!!!

And, for the record, this mixer IS a hottie for me!!! hahahaha

    1. When I first started looking for a mixer with a dough hook, I was considering the Hamilton Beach Eclectrics®, but it was my husband who suggested I consider the KitchenAid brand then add the attachments later. Seriously, I would have been happy with the Hamilton Beach. It has a more powerful motor and I really want it for bread and cookie dough. I rarely bake a cake anymore, but occasionally, I will bake cupcakes for the freezer. It's nice to have a sweet treat on the few occasions that I actually want cake. ;-)

Thank you for sharing your experience with your KitchenAid. I appreciate the feedback.

    1. When I was very young, I loved to cook, but as the years of full time work piled up, so did my list of "make.it.quick.so.you.can.get.out.of.the.kitchen" techniques. I called myself the "Queen of Quick Meals". LOL I dare say that I hated to cook for many years. I was retired over 2 years before I began to enjoy cooking again. Now, that old kitchen creative urge has finally awoke.

Thank you for your sweet comment. I confess that I deliberately strung you along...just for fun. hee hee

  6. I had already seen your excitement over your new "love" so I had a clue, but still loved reading your hot and sexy story of getting your hot new KitchenAid. It is beautiful and you will never ever be sorry you took the plunge. How could anyone begrudge YOU a tool of such beauty that actually helps you make even more yummity things in that magical kitchen? Your husband is a very smart man. ♥

Happy, happy for YOU all three. ♥

    1. Yes...I feel like the three of us will be very happy together. hahaha

I was afraid that I might be spoiling my own punch line when I posted on Facebook, but the sale is so good that I wanted to share just in case there was anyone else out there who was also in the market. Seriously - a $60 dollar savings on sale is just too good to keep to myself! So many times in my life, I would sadly discover that such and such had been on sale and I missed it. I'm the kind of person who just has to save money and when I want something, I also have the patience to wait until I find the item in a range that I am willing to pay. I remember several years ago when my vacuum cleaner was on it's last leg. My husband kept asking me why I put up with it - just go buy a new one. I told him not until I find one for around $40. He told me I was crazy - that they ALL cost more than that. But, I held out until I saw a sale. The vacuum cleaner I bought was on sale for $39,99. So I said to my husband..."HA"... And I am still using that vacuum cleaner! hee hee

    1. LOL...I'm way, WAY past the "stars in my eyes" stage of life. I'd rather have the mixer! Ask your wife about the mixer. If she likes to bake, I bet she either has one or would love to have one. If she doesn't have one...Mother's Day is just around the corner. *hint hint*
